When last we met, twenty-eight members of the class returned to their roots for the Alumni Dinner Dance at St. Paul. Make sure you have sent in your reservation for this year's event on August 21.

Class of 1960 High School Photos

Posted on line by Mike Heydinger on July 1, 2010  •   •

We have a few photos here from the high school days submitted by Linda Kettel. You may write captions for any of these you wish, just by sending them in.

With your help, this website will be a lot of fun, bring back many memories, and create a portal for those who absolutely cannot make it back for the BIG ONE this summer.

AAAAAH, the pause that refreshes, say Donn Rospert, Joe Brutsche, Jim Dible, Chuck Cooper!

Nice old cars! Too bad Ida and Joe got between Emma Schnurr's Buick and the camera!

No future Hall of Famers here, just a rag tag bunch of "our gang" kids that liked to play ball and just have fun. Could do that back in '56, unlike today's kids.

Seems like all America worshiped at the side altar of the almighty auto in those days. This group certainly does. Recognize them????

Professor Pat "Francella" Rooney demonstrates the principle of siphoning. Of course, every red-blooded American male already understood that. How do you think they filled their gasoline tanks in those days on date nights? Who could afford a tank of gas, even at $.28 per gallon?

Carol demonstrates to Ida the workings of the new fangled style of vacuum cleaners - as if Ida were going to open her own repair shop. Technology, then even as now, shaped the high school science curiculum.

Life about Town in the 50's

Someplace in town there stood this underground bar. Pat Kinney and Linda wait to be served.

The late James Dean joined the class right after shooting The Rebel.

Linda had cooties back then - here she plays with them with her friend.
