Biography of Robert Smith
From August, 1960 to October, 2003 I worked for Norwalk Furniture Corp. This made a total of forty-three years in many capacities from framing to shift manager.
In September of 1964 I married Phyllis Armstrong. Phyllis graduated from Norwalk High School.
April, 1970 we adopted our daughter Beth. Beth married John McFadden. We have four wonderful grandchildren, boys 22, 18 and 9 and a girl 12 years old. All are affiliated with St. Paul’s in Norwalk.
Other activities over the years include Boy Scout Volunteer, Norwalk Fireman and Norwalk Huron County Deputy.
I am now enjoying retirement, traveling with friends, and some volunteer church work.
