Biography of Dr. James Lonz
I graduated from Ohio State University with a DVM degree in 1967. I married Peggy Clark (SPH) 1961) in 1966.
I served as a Captain, U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, in Yuma, Arizona, 1967-1970.
I established Maple View Animal Hospital in Norwalk in 1973.
We have two daughters and two sons (all SPH grads), eleven grandchildren: seven near Ann Arbor Michigan, three in Avon Lake, Ohio, one in South Carolina.
I now am a part-time veterinarian, part-time golfer. I also serve as a board member of Stein Hospice. Travels have included Italy, biking in Ireland and Australia, and family trips to South Carolina.
