Biography of Dolores Missler
After graduation I worked for five years in the bookkeeping department as a proof operator at the Citizens National Bank in Norwalk, Ohio.
In 1964 I married my sweetheart and partner, Harold Missler. I worked one more year after my marriage and quit when my first daughter arrived. I was a stay-at-home mom with four daughters to raise. When the youngest entered school, I worked as secretary and bookkeeper at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue.
After 12 years of duty to the parish and the diocese I went to St. Casmir Parish in Fremont. My husband became very sick at that time and I had to quit to care for him after 13 years at the parish as bookkeeper and secretary. In 1998 my husband went on disability so I needed to return to the work field and I worked at CVS Pharmacy in Bellevue.
After 12 years, I am still full time there. My husband, Harold, passed away in 2007 leaving behind myself, his four daughters and sons-in-laws and 12 grandsons and one granddaughter.
My life has taken many different paths but with the grace of God I have been blessed with my family and friends. .
